Challenges

  • Areas with high water table, requiring ground dewatering for pond installation

Solution

  • Used a full suite of ground dewatering techniques to remove water from the ground

  • Collaborated with the client and their consultants to incorporate a 300mm cement stabilised layer into the pond design

  • Worked closely with the client on a monthly programme, tailoring labour to meet deadlines

  • Used geogrid installation and bentonite pond liner to address high water table issues

Results

  • Successfully installed the 23,000 cubic meters pond and delivered 167 plots over a 3.5-year contract duration

  • Met the client's expectations through collaborative problem-solving and regular quality control

  • Installed 4341m² of S38 roads and 3317m² of S104 drainage

  • Provided staged handover documents for superstructure works and before CML dates to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
